BT Calendyr on ollut todellinen löytö meille al Rayadiin. Ostin tamman aikoinani Heli K'lta, Farr arabiansista ja tämän neidin osto on ollut yksi parhaista päätöksistäni arabisiittolan arjessa. Calendyr on ulkonäöltään upea, se kantakirjattiin III-palkinnolla eikä näyttelymenestyskään ole ollut hullumpaa ! Tammalla on myös upea suku jota kautta saan lisää väriä suomalaisiin arabilinjoihin ja mikä ennenkaikkea Calendyrissä on ilahduttanut eniten aikojen saatossa; tamman kaikki varsat ovat olleet menestyjiä ! Ensimmäinen varsa Cairo al Rayad on yksi parhaita kasvattejani kautta aikojen; ori on kisannut menestyksekkäästi ulkomailla AHAC'ssa kuin myös KRJ'ssä. Cairo omaa myös upean luonteen ja se on ulkonäöltään juuri sellainen kuin tyypikkään arabin kuuluukin, hyvine ratsuominaisuuksineen. Cairon jälkeläisetkin ovat menestyneet maailmalla jo mukavaan malliin, mainittakoon mm. EC Nile Classicaal, Cameroon al Rayad & Jaeden Caribbea.
Calendyristä toinen itselleni jättämä varsa, Kalahari al Rayad on myös aivan omaa luokkaansa. Kouluradoilla muutamaan otteeseen sijoittunut Kalahari on palkittu Supreme-arvonimellä ja tamma odotteleekins euraavaa kantakirjaustilaisuutta. Myös Kalaharin varsa, Tharwaah Abaal al Rayad on menestynyt huikean hienosti !

Calendyr on kaunis, siro hyväliikkeinen arabitamma joka varmasti ihastuttaa komealla ulkonäöllään ja upealla värillään. Tammasta kuitenkin voi saada rauhallisemman kuvan kuin mitä neiti oikeasti on. Tämä tyttö nimittäin osaa olla tulta ja tappuraa tarpeen vaatiessa.Se osaa olla varsin kiltti ja kuuliainen mutta tamman luonteesta löytyy sitä kuuluisaa äkkipikaisuutta. Neiti menettää hermonsa varsin vikkelään mikäli asiat eivät mene sen pään mukaan. Vanhamamma Calendyr onkin tottunut välillä saamaan vähän toisenlaista kohtelua nuorempiin tammoihin verrattuna; tamman kiukutteluja katsotaan nykyään vähän enemmän sormien läpi, onhan tätihevonen jo eläkkeellä ja varsin ansaitusti.
